The USDA has officially announced that payment of the food stamps for the month of February will be made on or before January 20, 2019.
Payment for February is ahead of schedule for all grocery stamp beneficiaries as the USDA found a way to pay for all benefits for the month of February with $ 4.8 billion in emergency funds.

However, due to the rules associated with the emergency funds, the department has until January 20 to use the funds for payment, otherwise they will no longer be available.
