USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) works to reduce food insecurity and promote nutritious diets for the American people. The agency administers 15 nutritional aid programs that harness the agricultural abundance of Americans to ensure that children and individuals and families on low incomes consume nutritious foods.

Typically, attendees are not allowed to take advantage of their benefits to purchase foods that are hot sold at authorized SNAP retailers. You can only buy groceries that you want to take home and prepare for dinner at home.
