The Electronic Benefits Transfer Card (EBT) is like a debit card given to eligible households or individuals as part of the government’s food and cash assistance program. Grocery stamp beneficiaries are only allowed to use their card in approved grocery stores to redeem grocery stamp benefits.

The benefits are distributed each month to the EBT card of a recipient of a food stamp and can only be used to purchase authorized food. Therefore, they can know how much is left by checking their account balance and other government-provided benefits at www.ucard.chase.com.

Through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or the Food Stamp Program, the government has been able to reduce hunger by helping many people and families who are financially broke buy nutritious meals.

When you visit the ucard center, you can log into your EBT account. If you only receive your EBT card, you must first register for a Ucard account and complete the one-time registration process. Then also activate your card to access your account balance, check your card transactions and other information on your EBT card.

In addition to checking your account balance, the UCard Center website allows you to check account activity and exchange messages with customer service. If you have already registered for UCard Center, you can enter your User ID and Password and click the Login button to log in.

How to activate your EBT card on the UCard Center website

If you have received your new EBT card or a replacement card but have already registered with the UCard Center, click this button to activate your card.

Forgot user ID / password

If you forgot your UCard Center user ID, click Forgot User ID. You will be redirected to a page where you will enter your card number in order to recover your ID.

If you’ve forgotten your UCard Center password, click the Forgot Password link and enter your valid User ID. Follow the next step to reset and recover your password.
